Michael Barrett

TFWA Conference & Research Manager
Michael started his career in 1995 as a journalist at European news channel EuroNews in Lyon before joining the network’s marketing department. Since then he has worked in both media and new media, as well as for an international NGO, specialising in marketing and communications.
Michael joined TFWA as Conference and Research Manager in 2006. He is part of the TFWA Marketing and Conference Department, responsible for organising the World Exhibition and Asia Pacific conferences in Cannes and Singapore, as well as the annual MEDFA Conference and ETRC Forum.
Dermot Davitt

Deputy Publisher, The Moodie Report
Dermot Davitt is an experienced editor and commentator working in the travel retail media. He joined The Moodie Report in April 2006 as Deputy Publisher and Editor of the company's Digital Print Division. Previously he spent 10 years with trade magazine Duty-Free News International, six of those years as Editor-in-Chief. He is based in Galway, Ireland.
Anouska Forte

Deputy Editor, The Travel Retail Business magazine
Anouska Forte graduated with an honours degree in Law in 1997, working for a firm of solicitors until joining what was then The Duty Free Business magazine. She moved towards the editorial side of the business, becoming Deputy Editor. She is also one of the founding members of WiT (Women in Travel).
Frank Gray

Founder and Managing Director of Concession Planning International Ltd (C.P.I.), an airport commercial planning firm. Frank Gray has been involved in airport commercial development for over 30 years. C.P.I. has carried out airport commercial projects in virtually every continent and they are currently working on airport projects in Abu Dhabi, Germany, Latvia, Portugal, Saudi Arabia and the U.K. He is co-Director of the annual Airport Commercial Revenue Development course at Cranfield University and has his own column in Travel Retail Business magazine
Gavin Lipsith

Gavin Lipsith is the editor of Duty-Free News International magazine, one of the most respected titles in the travel-retail media. Over the past seven years he has occupied several roles, including DFNI Asia/Pacific editor, as part of which he was based in Hong Kong for a year. He retains a keen personal interest in the regional travel-retail trade and this is reflected in DFNI’s regional coverage. Lipsith founded the magazine’s Asia-specific weekly email service DFNI Asia, which is distributed free of charge to the region’s retailers and suppliers. He also moderated DFNI’s first Asia Pacific Travel Partnership Symposium in Macau last year.
Martin Moodie

Editor and Publisher, The Moodie Report
Martin Moodie is the founder and Managing Director of Moodie International, a UK-based media company which he created in 2002. He is also the Editor and Publisher of The Moodie Report, the travel retail intelligence service published in web, e-newsletter and print form. A New Zealander, Martin emigrated to England in 1987 and worked for 13 years at prominent print publisher Raven Fox as Editor of DFNI - and from 1996 to 2002 as Managing Director.
Doug Newhouse

Doug Newhouse is the founding Editorial Director of The Travel Retail Business, the industry's monthly trade magazine serving the duty free and travel retail industry. He is also the Editor of the daily travel retail internet news service www.trend-news.com - a joint venture between "The Business" and the industry's global analysts, Generation Databank. He contributed to numerous publications and film media, and spoken at many industry conferences over the years.
