Michael Barrett

TFWA Conference & Research Manager

Michael started his career in 1995 as a journalist at European news channel EuroNews in Lyon before joining the network's marketing department. Since then he has worked in both media and new media, as well as for an international NGO, specialising in marketing and communications. Michael joined TFWA as Conference & Research Manager in 2006. He is part of the TFWA Marketing and Conference Department, responsible for organising the World Exhibition and Asia Pacific conferences in Cannes and Singapore, as well as the annual MEDFA Conference and ETRC Forum.

Dermot Davitt

Editor, The Moodie Report

Dermot Davitt is an experienced editor and commentator working in the travel retail media. He joined The Moodie Report in April 2006 as Deputy Publisher and Editor of the company's Digital Print Division. Previously he spent 10 years with trade magazine Duty-Free News International, six of those years as Editor-in-Chief. He is based in Galway, Ireland.

Anouska Forte

Director & Deputy Editor, The Travel Retail Business magazine

Anouska Forte graduated with an honours degree in Law in 1997, working for a firm of solicitors until joining what was then The Duty Free Business magazine. She moved towards the editorial side of the business, becoming Deputy Editor. She is also one of the founding members of WiT (Women in Travel).

Peter Harbison

Executive Chairman of the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA).

Peter Harbison is a commentator on Asia Pacific aviation affairs. The Centre produces industry research and analysis, along with numerous newsletters. Peter's career in aviation comprises more than 30 years, with extensive experience in government regulation, airport management and privatisation, and airline startup and strategy. He has conducted more than 200 consultancy projects either as project manager or senior advisor, from the Middle East, India, China and most parts of Asia to the South Pacifi c. Peter is a former Chairman of the International Air Transport Association's World Aviation Regulation Monitoring Group, an international expert body which reviewed bilateral, multilateral and regulatory developments and reports annually. He is a board member of the Australian Aviation Council, immediate past President of the Aviation Law Association of Australia and New Zealand, a former IATA Travel Agency Commissioner and a former member of the NSW Government Steering Committee examining deregulation of NSW air services.
