Chinese Traveller Study
2007 Chinese Traveller Research

The 2007 Chinese Outbound Traveller research, the 3rd phase of a 3-year project, takes a deeper look at travellers’ shopping behaviour across all product categories. This comprehensive report gives an in-depth analysis of spending trends for each category, looking at traveller profile, choice of destination, departure airport, type of travel and shopping location.

The report also reveals cross-category purchasing trends and gives valuable insights into perceptions of duty free shopping locations, reasons why Chinese travellers do or don’t purchase in duty free shops and cultural habits which affect shopping behaviour.
