Important information regarding press registration at TFWA events
In order to pre-register free of charge as Trade Press – Editorial you should work for a trade media company specialising in the duty-free/travel-retail industry, or for a designated key sector (e.g., liquor, beauty) trade magazine which covers the duty-free/ travel retail industry as part of its regular remit.
In order to pre-register free of charge as Mainstream Press Editorial you must be able to send one or more of the following to the TFWA Press Office to support your application:
• Copy of an up-to-date Press Card
Out of date press cards will not be accepted. Freelance journalists/photographers with Press Cards must also provide commissioning letter/s from publications that they represent.
• Editorial business card together with copy of publication indicating editorial position on masthead
Substitute persons arriving onsite to ‘cover’ for a pre-registered journalist will not be admitted without providing all the necessary documentation.
If you have attended either event the previous year, you must send in copies of resulting editorial to the TFWA Press Office. Failure to do so may disqualify you from registering free of charge at subsequent events.
In order to register free of charge as Trade - Advertising, you must work for a core duty-free/travel retail trade publication/broadcast media.
All other persons whose business card states that he/she holds an Advertising, Commercial, Publishing, Sales, Marketing, Public Relations role must pay the appropriate fee in advance or onsite under the category Mainstream- Advertising. Please see table above for prices.
Onsite registrations are subject to exactly the same rules at the costs as specified in the above table.
Note. Publications/broadcast media represented must have relevance to the TFWA event and the exhibitors attending. If this is not the case, or in the event that the required information cannot be provided, please contact our visitors office at hotline(at)tfwa.com
