Erik Juul-Mortensen Erik Juul-Mortensen is President, Maxxium Global Travel Retail.
He is also President of Tax Free World Association. Erik has served the industry with distinction since joining Danish Distillers in 1987 as Vice-President of the newly-established export and duty free division.
Since then he has held a number of positions with Danish Distillers and V&S Group, the latest as President, V&S Global Duty Free & Travel Retail. He assumed his current position with Maxxium in October 2005. He has been a member of the Management Committee of Tax Free World Association since 1985 and was Vice-President from 1986 to 1997. Hamish was born in Zambia in 1960 to Scottish parents. He was educated at the Skinners’ School in Tunbridge Wells and at St Andrews University (MA (Hon) Economics). From there he was awarded both a Bobby Jones scholarship and a St Andrews Society of Washington DC scholarship to Emory University (Atlanta) where he graduated with an MBA in 1984. Doug Newhouse Doug Newhouse is the founding Editorial Director of The Travel Retail Business, the industry's monthly trade magazine serving the duty free and travel retail industry. He is also the Editor of the daily travel retail internet news service www.trend-news.com - a joint venture between "The Business" and the industry's global analysts, Generation Databank. He contributed to numerous publications and film media, and spoken at many industry conferences over the years. Stephen Sackur Stephen Sackur is presenter of HARDtalk, the current affairs flagship on BBC World and News 24. He also presents for Today and the World at One.
Before this, as Europe Correspondent, his remit included reporting day to day political news from European institutions and NATO, as well as breaking news
