This year’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes (29 Sept – 3 Oct) hosts two important events where Association members play a key part.

With its 40 members elected every two years, the Management Committee defines TFWA’s objectives and strategy, oversees resource allocation and approves new members. Seats on the Committee are allocated by product category (or ‘sector’) based on each sector’s market share and proportion of TFWA membership. If there are more candidates than seats for a particular sector, all TFWA member companies are required to vote for the companies they want to represent their sector. This year’s Sector Designations will be held on Wednesday 2 October from 8am to midday at the TFWA Office on the ground level of the Palais des Festivals.
The Management Committee representatives elected at the Sector Designations are formally appointed at TFWA’s Annual General Meeting, which also makes decisions about the Association’s future. The AGM gives members an important opportunity to ask questions, review financial data and approve the annual budget. The 2024 AGM will take place on Thursday 3 October in Auditorium K of the Palais des Festivals, and members holding mandates should arrive at 8:30am to register.
