Carlton Beach
As the curtain-raiser for duty free and travel retail’s global summit, the Opening Cocktail is consistently one of the best-attended social events. The beach venue in front of Cannes’ renowned Carlton Hotel set the scene for an evening of socialising and networking. Fireworks over the bay, courtesy of the City of Cannes, provided a spectacular finale.

Port Canto
The glamorous culmination of the week’s networking had some surprises in store for 2018. Celebrated chef Romain Gandolphe skilfully blended taste and texture for his unique ‘trompe l’oeil’ cuisine where all was not as it appeared. Afterwards, five top international illusionists brought their record-breaking Broadway show to Cannes complete with feats of levitation, mind-reading, disappearance and more.
Dress code: Black Tie

Please note that any special dietary requirements must be indicated when reserving your table at the Premium Evening Desk in the Palais des Festivals, by 4pm on Tuesday 2 October at the latest. Beyond that date, dietary options will depend upon what is available.
