The Asian cruise market is among the fastest-growing travel sectors in the industry, driven by the growing propensity among Chinese families to take cruise holidays to neighbouring countries. For the first time TFWA has commissioned a dedicated study to understand the behaviour and attitudes to retail of travellers in this promising sector. Produced by Horizon Consumer Science and based on onboard interviews with cruisers on several key routes, the TFWA East Asia Cruise Study 2017 includes recommendations to help TFWA members and the wider industry better understand the potential of this exciting market.
