With 40 seats in total, the TFWA Management Committee defines the Association’s objectives and strategy, oversees the allocation of resources and approves the admission of new members. All product sectors are represented on the Committee, with seats allocated according to each category’s market share and proportion of TFWA's membership. If there are more candidates than seats available in a given product category, a vote is held, making it essential for all TFWA member companies to vote for the companies that will represent their sector. This year’s Management Committee election will take place on Wednesday 5th October between 08:00 and midday at the TFWA office on the ground level of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.
TFWA’s Annual General Meeting is where Management Committee representatives are formally appointed after the election, and decisions about the Association’s future are made. This vital event in the calendar gives members a chance to ask questions, review financial data and approve the budget. The 2022 AGM will be held on Thursday 6th October at 09:00 in Auditorium K of the Palais des Festivals.
