Freda Cheung is the newly appointed President and CEO Asia-Pacific at leading travel retailer Dufry. Prior to her latest appointment, Freda held leadership roles in Dufry US and Canada as the company’s Executive Vice President and Country General Manager (2020-2023) and Senior Vice President Commercial (2017-2019).
Freda began her career in the duty free and travel retail industry with World Duty Free as its CEO Canada (2010 – 2017) and, previously, Vice President Corporate Services (2006-2010).
Freda is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada. She has a Bachelor’s of Commerce in accounting from the University of British Columbia.
