Networking is key to making the most of the week at TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference, and with a packed programme of leisure events now confirmed, there are plenty of opportunities for networking that are formal or less formal, but always fun. There’s something to keep everyone amused outside the busy working day. For those who want to take it easy, there’s a relaxing start to the day with ancient martial arts or demonstrations of the gentle Chinese art of paper cutting. Those in search of high-octane thrills will enjoy water balling across a swimming pool, while delegates who like their entertainment elegant can choose to sip cocktails in some of Singapore’s most
impressive locations.
The Tai Chi class on Sunday morning, for which there is still time to register, will take place on the rooftop of the Marina Bay Sands, and will offer delegates the ideal opportunity to prepare mind, body and spirit for the week ahead. The TFWA golf tournament, hosted in partnership with Interparfums, is now fully booked, and we wish all players a great time on the green.
There is also a range of evening events, from the formal to the decidedly chilled. The elegant Welcome Cocktail at Raffles Hotel on the Sunday evening this year takes its theme from the traditional craft of paper-cutting, which dates back to second century China. At the Chill-Out Party on the Tuesday at the Mandarin Oriental, sponsored by Haribo and Lacoste, delegates can unwind with a relaxing massage or try their luck at winning a raffle prize, including highly coveted tickets to the French Open tennis final at Roland Garros. Those looking to try a few moves will have their chance at the Singapore Swing Party on the Wednesday at Mambo Beach on Sentosa Island. Celebrity chef Emmanuel Stroobant will delight party-goers with a menu that, like the cuisine at his fabled Singapore restaurant Saint Pierre, fuses the best French tradition with Asian ingredients.
In addition, the TFWA Asia Pacific Bar at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, kindly supported by a number of exhibiting brands, is open Monday to Wednesday and provides more opportunities for networking over a well-earned post-show drink as the exhibition draws to a close each evening.
The TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference will run from 8th to 12th May 2016 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore.
