As duty free and travel retail’s largest gathering, TFWA World Exhibition & Conference offered a unique opportunity to socialise with influential industry figures. The week-long networking programme provided a mix of events. Delegates added to their contacts and enhanced their profile or just relaxed with colleagues.

For many the unofficial start of the Cannes week, this was an evening to reconnect with industry peers and build your network in a relaxed ambiance. The spacious new setting on the Port Canto terrace offered stunning waterside vistas and was the ideal vantage point for the firework display generously provided by the City of Cannes.
Dress code: Smart
Entry was open to all visitor and exhibitor badge-holders, free of charge upon presentation of their e-invitation (one person per invite).

Duty free and travel retail’s very own nightspot moved to a glamorous new location amidst the superyachts at Cannes’ foremost marina. There was ample room to party on the dance floor, relax in the lounge or stargaze on the terrace. The ‘artist’s studio’ décor guaranteed a quirky, colourful backdrop to the night.
Entry was by ticket only – available for purchase at The Scene desk (Palais des Festivals, Level 1) or at the venue entrance (upon presentation of your badge)
Le Premium Evening
Thursday 3 October
20:00 - Port Canto
The industry’s ultimate night out combined sumptuous cuisine with strolling musicians and eye-catching performers. Participants started with an aperitif on the terrace as they chatted to fellow guests before moving inside for dinner. Later they followed the entertainers to discover an unforgettable closing party and DJ set at The Scene next door.
Dress code: Black tie
NB Guests attending Le Premium Evening with full-delegate status received admission free of charge to The Scene on Thursday night.
