Raymond Cloosterman is the founder and CEO of Rituals Cosmetics. Raymond is an entrepreneur, brand builder and business economist who enjoyed a thirteen-year career at Unilever before starting Rituals. While at Unilever, Raymond took some time off and embarked in a journey, travelling the world to learn more about different customs and business practices. His expedition led him to a whole new world of business insights especially in retail, brand building and domestic beauty care products. The knowledge he gathered gave birth to the concept of Rituals; a brand that encompasses products for both home and personal care.
From the basement of an Amsterdam canal house, Raymond worked with a small but passionate team on the opening of the first Rituals store in Amsterdam’s main shopping district in Kalverstraat Street.
