Beatriz de Otto Méndez joined Mondelēz International in 2012 and was appointed to the position of Head of Customer Marketing World Travel Retail in 2021, also serving on the TREE Leadership team.
Her primary focus is leading Mondelez WTR’s global customer marketing strategy development and executing key growth initiatives by working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and major retail partners to collaborate on best-in-class implementations. Among her strategic imperatives is the task of supporting and driving the company’s in-store agenda through the channel recovery and beyond.
Beatriz also leads Mondelez WTR’s sustainability team, focusing on the pillars of products & packaging, ethical promotions, industry leading actions, and people. These pillars are the foundation of a holistic strategy known as ‘Travel Retail Made Right’, which includes championing diversity and inclusion for both internal and external stakeholders to progress equal opportunity in the channel.
