After graduating with a degree in aeronautical engineering, Lucio worked for BMW Rolls-Royce Aeroengines in Germany, then moved into consulting, working for Roland Berger (1996-1999) and McKinsey Italy (1999-2006). In 2006 Lucio joined Coop, as Hypermarket & Non-Food Director in Bologna before being promoted to CEO of Coop Sicily. He joined Lagardère Travel Retail in 2015, as CEO of Italy. In 2020, he became the Chief Business Officer of Lagardère Travel Retail, based in Paris, a role in which he oversees the company’s three business lines: travel essentials, duty free & fashion and foodservice. He is also responsible for the company’s global CSR roadmap and marketing.
