With booking space fast approaching pre-Covid levels and an outstanding number of exhibitors confirming their participation, TFWA is delighted to announce that visitor registration for TFWA World Exhibition & Conference this year is now officially open.
Taking place from 2nd to 6th October in Cannes, the 2022 TFWA World Exhibition & Conference will once again bring together key players in duty free and travel retail from across the globe. Meeting face-to-face under one roof at the Palais des Festivals will be some of the world’s best-known retailers, buyers, operators, landlords, airports, airlines, agents, and brands.
The 2022 TFWA World Exhibition & Conference will also mark the return of TFWA’s highly-popular TFWA i.lab – an ideas hub that will shine a spotlight on innovative ways to engage the travelling consumer.
“We are looking forward to being back in Cannes this October for the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference. As the travel industry recovers, it is critical for us at Heathrow to discover the latest innovations from our brand partners and reconnect with our industry colleagues from across the globe. We strongly believe in the power of our collective efforts as an industry in planning for the future together, and Cannes will give us the perfect opportunity to carry on doing that. For us, the 2022 TFWA World Exhibition & Conference is truly an unmissable event.”
Fraser Brown, Airport Retail & Property Director, Heathrow Airport

“After a hugely successful in-person event in Singapore last month, it is indeed very exciting to see how much interest there has been in TFWA’s upcoming event in Cannes this October. I would like to thank the many brands, who have confirmed their presence at the event – some of whom have actually taken even more space in the exhibition hall than before – for playing their part in facilitating our industry’s road to recovery. The floor space reserved by exhibitors to date, which is already well ahead of last year’s edition, plus the impressive number of major brands confirming their attendance, mean that the scale of this year’s event in Cannes is going to be up there with pre-Covid editions. This will doubtless be an unmissable event that will further underscore our unwavering commitment to accelerating the recovery of the duty free and travel retail industry. We’re very much looking forward to reconnecting with our members, industry colleagues, and trade partners once again in Cannes.”
Erik Juul-Mortensen, TFWA President
