Olly Wehring is a business journalist who has been reporting on the global alcohol industry for almost 20 years. Joining Just Drinks in 2003 as deputy editor, he became managing editor of the B2B website two years later and held the position until early 2022. He is currently working in a freelance capacity with Global Drinks Intel.
In his career, he's interviewed the CEOs of brand owners including - in spirits - Diageo, Pernod Ricard, Bacardi, Campari Group and WIlliam Grant & Sons and - in beer - Anheuser-Busch InBev, Carlsberg and Heineken. On the wine side, he has also sat down with senior executives from Concha y Toro, E&J Gallo Winery and Treasury Wine Estates.
Olly has chaired conferences covering a raft of areas from an industry-specific perspective, including consumer trends, product innovation and sustainability.
