Chris Morriss has worked in retail and shopper marketing for over 20 years with many Fortune 500 companies in both the European and Asia Pacific markets. He is the Managing Director of Concourse - a leading implementation company dedicated to creating incredible travel retail experiences on behalf of brands and retail operators globally.
As a native of New Zealand, this clean and green backdrop has been an inspiration to Chris in seeking out sustainable methods of working and application. Alongside his active membership of the Entrepreneurs' Organisation for 16 years, this has provided a drive and entrepreneurial spirit to create change and to challenge the Travel Retail industry in committing to more responsible, ethical and eco-friendly working practices in merchandising, brand activation and store implementation.
Chris has worked on many developments with a sustainable approach during his career: from prototyping the first encapsulated polystyrene pallet to encourage recycling back in 2004; to launching Concourse’s Triple R ‘Redesign, Redress, Reuse’ strategy for brand clients nearly a decade ago; to launching Concourse’s very own ‘ReStore' initiative in May 2019 - the first sustainable initiative in Travel Retail for repurposing merchandising displays and materials; and to partnering with technologically advanced manufacturing companies to push the use of innovative and sustainable materials in the industry.
