Matt Liao is the Senior Vice President of Marketing, Branding and Public Relations for China Duty Free Group (CDFG). 

A marketing veteran with over 20 years of experience in Asia, Matt has a wealth of experience in travel retail, hospitality and destination, luxury retail, commercial real estate and shopping malls, health and beauty, and hypermarket retail. He has worked for brands in both the luxury and mass consumer sectors. 

Matt’s strong suits are building integrated marketing resources & capability to drive business objectives, driven by consumer insights, compelling content, leveraging up-to-date digital engagement, and marketing efficiency with a heavy focus on consumer experience, loyalty, cross-partnership, and brand engagement. 

Previously, Matt held senior executive roles with Shangri-La Group, Bicester Village, Capital Malls Asia, Mannings China and Walmart China.
