Dr Peter Mohn graduated as a psychologist and earned a PhD in Business Psychology at the University of Göttingen, Germany. Peter has worked for various leading global market research agencies since 1993 and has specialized in Travel Retail research since 2004. The company he co-founded, m1nd-set, works as a consultant to over 40 global brands, many leading retailers, as well as all main Duty Free and Travel Retail associations around the world.
Based at Lake Geneva, m1nd-set conducts consumer research at airports, at border shops and onboard ferries worldwide to deliver marketing intelligence, actionable insights and consulting. Over recent years m1nd-set has conducted over a million interviews with travellers around the world. The company conducts state-of-the-art quantitative and qualitative research on many different themes, such as shopping motivation & behaviour, brand awareness and evaluation, price elasticity, promotion effectiveness, category management, path to purchase, product pre- and post-testing, segmentation surveys, mystery shopping, impact and role of e-commerce and many more.
m1nd-set recently launched the Business 1ntelligence Service “B1S”, which provides the industry with air traffic data, including DDS data, uniquely provided by IATA and ARC, as well as Global Consumer Insights based on interviews at airports around the world.
