Michele Miranda is the Conference Director for TFWA. A convener of changemakers, a dedicated do-gooder, and a self-proclaimed nerd, Michele enjoys her life in Paris with TFWA, organizing and producing engaging forums around the globe.  She has contributed to the association’s philanthropic initiative, TFWA Care.

Before moving to Paris, Michele was Director of Special Events at Boys Town New York, organizing large-scale fundraising events and developing community partnerships. She began her career in international affairs at the United Nations. She spent a decade working at various think tanks. She was Director of Operations and Events at the EastWest Institute and Program Associate at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.  She has contributed to public discourse by publishing an op-ed on the war against terrorism in The New York Times and as a foreign affairs contributor for an Asian American newspaper, The International Herald Tribune.  

Michele, a proud New Yorker, loves her hometown Knicks and Yankees.  She is passionate about rock climbing, running marathons, and traveling to pursue both sports. She aims to visit every country and is already halfway there.
