Hannah Gao is the Chief China Representative for Tax Free World Association (TFWA). With a wealth of experience in MICE, travel retail, luxury consumer goods and business strategy in China, Hannah is the Association’s key representative in its projects and initiatives in one of the world’s largest markets. Mission driven on engaging key stakeholders in the travel retail ecosystem; she plays an integral role in all TFWA events especially the success of its China’s Century Conference edition.

A trusted advisor to tech start-ups, luxury brands, and retailers in China for more than two decades, Hannah is a bridge-builder and helps companies to navigate between eastern and western cultures. She has a knack on how to map their routes on doing business within China and overseas.

Hannah earned her master’s degree in marketing and communication from Peking University.
