Ivo Knuesel began his career with Mondelēz International in 2004 and was named Regional Manager in 2010, successfully growing Mondelez World Travel Retail’s business in the Americas region.
Following the company’s shift to a retailer-based structure in 2015, Ivo was promoted to Head of Category Planning, responsible for implementing insight-based category strategy and activations, and for translating Mondelez WTR’s ‘Delighting Travellers’ vision into customer development programmes.
Under his leadership, the Category Planning team has introduced strategic initiatives that have embraced the changes in the evolving travel retail landscape, and continued to excite and engage travellers while driving conversion, basket size and purchase frequency.
