Throughout his career, Samer Ahmed Al Nabhani has held multiple positions across the public and private sectors, and is currently Commercial Operations General Manager at Oman Airports Management Company (OAMC), the main body responsible for the strategic leadership, direction and development of Oman’s airports. Samer is responsible for aeronautical and non-aeronautical concessions, airline marketing and communications, and real estate development in Muscat International and Salalah airports.

Samer plays a lead role in developing new route development strategies, resulting in recent agreements with airlines including Spice Jet and Indigo, and increased frequencies by Fly Dubai, Qatar Airways and Air Arabia.

Before joining Oman Airports, Samer served as Executive Director of the Sanad Programme, an initiative launched by HE Sultan Qaboos to alleviate unemployment in the nation by offering mentorship and job training. The programme was awarded best public initiative in Oman in 2003, and was considered by Arab labour organizations as the best self-employment and individual initiative program in the Arab world.

Prior to this, Samer also held key positions with Oman’s Higher Education Council and the Sultan Qaboos University.
