TFWA Asia Pacific Live (9-11 May in Singapore) is just days away, so here’s what you need to know as you prepare for the trip.
With duty free and travel retail’s first live networking event in Asia Pacific for two years fast approaching, there’s no time to lose. To benefit from the extensive networking opportunities in the industry’s largest-grossing region, you need to be there in person, rubbing shoulders with confirmed participants from Heinemann Asia Pacific, Lotte Duty Free Oceania, Malaysia Airports and others.
The first priority is booking your place, which you can do here. There are special rates for flights with Singapore Airlines and accommodation at the Marina Bay Sands venue. TFWA Asia Pacific Live, officially hosted by Changi Airport Group and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, has Dufry, Mondelez International, Bacardi Martini and Kering Eyewear as platinum sponsors. The emphasis is on networking, and formal introductory meetings are available for eligible participants via TFWA ONE2ONE, thanks to the support of Imperial Brands and iClick Interactive. Casual networking will also be possible throughout the two-day event, with the foyer on Level 5 configured for informal meetings. The TFWA Asia Pacific Lounge (Level 4) will be open on Monday and Tuesday evenings for a drink and a chat with colleagues. Diageo, William Grant & Sons, Duty Free Global, Brown-Forman, Pernod Ricard and Heineken will help keep the refreshments flowing. To complement the networking, a series of knowledge sessions with expert commentators will tackle core industry topics on both days.
