An upbeat MEADFA Conference saw an increase in attendees over the previous edition with nearly 500 delegates gathering at the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel venue in Dubai. There was strong representation from suppliers, while the number of retailers and landlords present also rose. Geographically, the Middle East as host region enjoyed a 4% uplift in delegates and came close to outnumbering the European contingent, until now the largest.
