Wieke Vrielink is Head of Consumer Marketing at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. She is responsible for the marketing strategy and marketing team, managing all marketing activities of the customer journey at the airport. This includes Parking, Retail, Food & Beverages and Premium Services. She and her team work on continuously improving the customer journey and translating customer needs, market trends and digital opportunities into commercial propositions in order to enhance the customer experience and to add to airport revenues. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has a strong focus on Chinese customers with a dedicated marketing approach.
Wieke was awarded a Master’s degree in Communication and Marketing Science at the Free University of Amsterdam. She accumulated over 18 years of all-round marketing experience in banking (ABN AMRO) and the airline industry (Martinair, Air France KLM and Transavia). In September 2018 she stepped into the airport business at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. She has a strong focus on customer experience, data and digital transformations.
Wieke lives in Amsterdam with her husband and 8-year-old daughter.
