Four-time NBA champion, entrepreneur and philanthropist Tony Parker will be joining a top-class line-up of speakers on stage at this year’s TFWA World Conference. Parker, whose career has spanned the high-pressure world of elite sport and the equally demanding sphere of international business, will bring fresh perspective on leadership, resilience, and teamwork. His blend of experience offers a distinctive lens on how to build, inspire, and sustain winning teams.
Parker will replace Gloria Guevara Manzo, who has had to withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances.
Updates have also been made to the workshop schedule. On Wednesday morning, 1st October, the Next Horizon: Charting the Future of Travel Retail workshop will include an introduction from TFWA Managing Director Franck Waechter, and the session will be moderated by Nicole Daniells, Member Services Manager at TFWA.
“We’re delighted to welcome an international athlete Tony Parker to our programme this year. Sport teaches us how to build multicultural teams, perform under pressure, and succeed in challenging environments — all of which reflect our daily life in travel retail. We’re looking forward to this year’s TFWA World Conference and workshops, which promise to deliver inspiring perspectives and valuable insights for our industry.
