Overseeing our expert L'Oréal Travel Retail teams and fostering strong partnerships with retailers, Eva Yu activates the entire travel ecosystem to reimagine the traveler’s journey. She divides her time between Paris and Singapore to provide beauty to global travelers from all around the world.

Eva began her journey with L’Oréal Hong Kong in 2000 as Biotherm Brand Manager, where she quickly transformed the brand into a market leader. Her strong business acumen and leadership soon led to her promotion in 2004 to General Manager of the LUXE Division.

In 2011, Eva broke new ground as the first Asian and the first woman to be appointed Managing Director of Travel Retail APAC. Under her visionary leadership, L’Oréal’s duty-free business grew substantially, with significant gains in retail footprint, brand image, and market share across the region.

She returned to L’Oréal Hong Kong in 2016 as President and Managing Director, where she continued to drive strong market share growth and gained widespread recognition for elevating retail excellence. At the same time, her deep commitment to people and purpose earned numerous awards for talent development, corporate responsibility, and sustainability, further cementing her reputation as a transformative and values-driven leader.

Eva Yu is from Hong Kong and graduated from the University of Hong Kong.
