Lennard Niemann

Lennard Niemann is the Managing Partner at GHARAGE Ventures, the first venture capital fund dedicated to the travel retail industry. Backed by Gebr. Heinemann, the fund focuses on driving technological resilience across the sector and building an innovation pipeline along the global air travel journey. 

Previously, Lennard was Co-Founder and Managing Director of the GHARAGE Vision Hub, the foresight and venture vehicle of Gebr. Heinemann. With a strong background in corporate development, Lennard spearheads venture initiatives and plays a key role in shaping long-term strategy and driving innovation. He focuses on advancing digital capabilities across the travel and airport ecosystem. 

Earlier in his career, Lennard gained extensive experience in the automotive industry, providing consulting services for major companies including BMW, Audi, and Daimler. He has received several international accolades for his strategic contributions. 

Born in Hamburg, Germany, Lennard studied brand design and strategy. He earned his master’s degree in leadership and digital communications and completed executive education at Harvard. Lennard has lived in Hamburg, Berlin, Beijing, and Hong Kong.
